When I think of linen, I think of hemp.

You might think, "A cat collar made of rough, scratchy hemp?" But it's a little different from the hemp used in burlap sacks.

"Linen" refers to fibers made from the stem of the flax plant, and it's characterized by its soft, supple feel.

Compared to cotton, another natural material, linen has superior absorbency and breathability. It's well-ventilated, so it can be worn smoothly even in sweaty seasons without feeling stuffy. It's also resistant to stains, durable, and long-lasting. It becomes more comfortable with use.

For these reasons, it's a material often used in children's clothing.

It's so comfortable that I not only choose it for clothes, but also for bed sheets, aprons, and cushion covers.

I also love the natural colors that are unique to natural materials.
