Hello, I'm YUI from Poponeko!

Starting this spring, I'm in charge of the final sewing process at the Poponeko workshop. I love crafting and cute things, so I can't help but feel excited when I'm at the Poponeko workshop!

This time, I'd like to introduce our simple yet sophisticated "Irodori Kasuri Cat Collar."

What kind of fabric is Kasuri?

Have you ever heard of a "kasuri kimono"?

A kimono with faded patterns, like those worn by tea pickers, is called "kasuri."

When dyeing the threads, some parts are dyed and others are not. When woven, this creates a unique pattern.

It has a warm, rustic texture, yet somehow it's stylish. The muted colors are comforting. As someone who loves cute things, I was instantly captivated! ◎

The normal type comes in 7 colors ♪

Look at this exquisite color palette!

Vivid bright colors are nice, but mature muted colors are also wonderful. They would look great on cats.

As I was finishing the cat collars, thinking such thoughts, I found myself muttering, "Cute... so cute..." haha.

The normal type of Irodori Kasuri Cat Collar comes in 7 colors. From left: black, kurumi, purple, matcha, indigo, sakura, and akane. Personally, "sakura" is a favorite.

Japanese patterns now available for cat collars with ribbons!

And, guess what! We're introducing our first Japanese pattern for cat collars with ribbons!

We combined two colors of fabric, inspired by kimonos and obis. The natural feel of the Irodori Kasuri Cat Collar remains, but it can be chic or cute. The expression changes quite a bit depending on the color combination.

I wanted to make all possible combinations, but I restrained myself.

We created 8 carefully selected ribbon cat collars: black with akane ribbon, black with indigo ribbon, matcha with sakura ribbon, matcha with indigo ribbon, kurumi with sakura ribbon, kurumi with matcha ribbon, sakura with akane ribbon, and purple with black ribbon.

With a ribbon, it won't get buried in their fluffy fur, so your cat can enjoy looking stylish ♪

Actually, this Irodori Kasuri Cat Collar series is a cat collar I'm particularly fond of, as it's the first project I was in charge of planning.

The kasuri fabric has a Japanese style, but when made into a ribbon, it can look like tweed. It really stimulated my creative spirit as a maker.

Made of soft cotton, it's comfortable for cats and safe for owners, which is another key point.

I hope many cats will use it. With that wish in mind, I carefully sew cat collars every day.
