Today, I'd like to introduce cat collars that are a collaboration with German company Kafka, and are just adorable in both color and design!

These special cat collars shine with delicacy and the craftsmanship of artisans amidst their cuteness. They're sure to make your cat look extra lovely~

Our Encounter with Kafka Ribbons

As I searched for materials from all over the world to create wonderful cat collars, something truly captivated my heart. That was the "Kafka Ribbon."

It's a jacquard-woven ribbon from the German company Kafka, produced in a small workshop in the town of Wuppertal, in north-central Germany.

Jacquard weaving is a technique where patterns are created directly in the fabric during weaving. Although it appears three-dimensional, almost like embroidery, the entire design is created solely through weaving.

They apparently inherited a manufacturing method from over 200 years ago, and weave these ribbons on looms that have been operating for over 100 years. Because of the meticulous process, they can only weave about 1 meter per hour.

The fairytale-like designs are also unique to Kafka ribbons. The elaborate and delicate patterns are so lovely that the more you look at them, the more you find yourself gazing at them enchanted.

Carefully and Gently, One by One

I finally managed to bring my wish to life: to create cat collars using Kafka ribbons!

In fact, Kafka went out of business once about four years ago, and there was a period when shipments to Japan stopped. We managed to secure some rare Kafka ribbons, and we've carefully crafted each cat collar to preserve their beauty.

Moreover, Kafka ribbons are woven using very fine threads, making them soft and fluffy. The intricate designs are also very beautiful.

For the part that touches the cat's skin, we use domestically produced 100% cotton herringbone tape. We focused not only on "cuteness" but also on "gentleness."

4 Stylish New Designs!

Four new Kafka ribbon cat collar designs are here: "Daisy," "Anchor Heart," "Yacht," and "Apple"! Here's a little preview of the lineup.

Daisy

This cat collar features a cute traditional floral pattern. The combination of the base color and the small flowers completely changes its expression.

Furthermore, new colors will still be introduced in the second and third rounds. Please look forward to them!
