On my way to the workshop in the mornings, I've started to feel that crisp, cold air. It makes me long for fluffy and soft things.

Just in time for this season, we're introducing new velvet cat collars!

They are so wonderfully soft and incredibly light! These cat collars are designed for sensitive cats. I'd love to tell you about the special features, so please take a look!

Cat collars with lovely ribbons

I absolutely adore cats wearing ribbons. After the MUJI Cotton Twill Cat Collar, I've been thinking for a long time about what kind of ribbon cat collar to make next.

I pondered over various ideas: "I want a material or pattern suitable for autumn and winter," "but if it's too bulky, it'll be a burden on the cat," and "I want to make it as light as possible"...

Finally, I decided on velvet! With that in mind, I created these wonderfully soft velvet cat collars.

For kittens and senior cats alike

A simple velvet cat collar, something you wouldn't expect to find!

We focused on softness, lightness, and safety so that both kittens and senior cats can wear them with peace of mind. And of course, each one is handmade!

Velvet is often made from rayon or nylon and often has a glossy finish. However, at Poponeko, we deliberately chose a matte velvet made of 89% cotton.

With reduced gloss, it gains a significant touch of luxury. It blends beautifully with a cat's soft fur. When actually worn, it looks absolutely adorable!

Slightly smaller ribbons

Actually, the ribbons on these velvet cat collars are a little smaller than usual. We tried to make them as light as possible so that even kittens wearing a collar for the first time can use them safely.

The size is just right for both small kittens and large cats, allowing them to wear it cutely. As shown in the photo above, they look adorable when worn as a pair!

It also doesn't get in the way much when they're eating or drinking water!

Making cat collars that address your concerns

The new velvet cat collars come in a total of 12 colors! Both dark and light colors are available! !

Each color is available in a standard type and a ribbon type. They also come in four sizes: S, M, L, and LL.

I always feel excited when I'm making cat collars, thinking about what kind of cat will wear them!

I beam every time I see a photo posted to #Minna no Poponeko Collection. Comments like "They wore it without complaint," "No collar marks formed!" and "It's so cute!" truly make me happy.
