Autumn is gradually approaching, and the season for Halloween anticipation is here. We really want you to enjoy Halloween with your cats! With that in mind, a project we've been nurturing for a long time has finally taken shape.

The Ultimate Cat Collar with a "Halloween Party" Theme

This time, I was in charge of the planning from the start, and I put a lot of effort into the design, material selection, and repeated prototyping. 

I wanted to create an ultimate design that felt more special than traditional bandana-type cat collars and allowed for more Halloween spirit, but I also wanted to minimize the burden on cats.

Balancing these two important concepts of Poponeko was truly difficult... I went through many prototypes, focusing on design, lightness, and features to ensure the cat's comfort.

Bold Halloween Motifs: Balancing Design and Lightness

The key feature of this new product is the bandana with bold Halloween motifs. Since adding more decorations increases the weight, I paid extra attention to material selection.

The fabric for the bandana part is from "moda fabrics," a long-established American fabric brand. It's characterized by its American-style designs and moist texture.

Furthermore, the tape part that touches the skin is also made of cotton. The ribbon is made of polyester, prioritizing lightness and ease of care. When I measured the M-sized collar, it was an astonishingly light 7g!

Cool Accent with Black Buckle

This time, we used a black buckle. This is actually Poponeko's first black buckle, and it perfectly matches the Halloween aesthetic!

It's a cool accent that tightens the overall look without being too sweet.

Even More Stylish with Charms

Of course, you can also attach optional charms! For cats who don't mind charms, you can enjoy an even more glamorous Halloween coordinated look.

An orange bandana cat collar to enhance the Halloween mood.

"Jack-o'-lantern" and "Spider" are classic Halloween designs. "Twilight Rose," inspired by roses blooming in a mansion, has an elegant and classical atmosphere.

Make Halloween the Best Memory

We took photos of Poponeko's exclusive model, "Cha-chan," wearing the completed collar. She was so cute that I keep looking back at the photos.

I wanted to make Halloween with cats a little special. With that in mind, I carefully made each one.
