When putting a collar on your cat for the first time, the trick is to avoid startling them.
[First, just show it to them]
Once you receive your Poponeko cat collar, first show the collar to your cat. Let them sniff it, or gently touch it with their paws. Let them know it's "nothing scary."
[Try putting it on for a short time]
Start with just a few minutes. Adjust the collar size roughly, it doesn't have to be perfect, and then put it on your cat from behind. Be careful not to put it on from the front, as it might startle them.
[Take it off if they dislike it]
If they show discomfort, remove it immediately. Repeat the process of putting it on and taking it off after a while. You can try distracting them with their favorite things, such as giving them treats or playing with toys.
[Extend the wearing time]
Don't rush; take about 3 days to 2 weeks. Let your cat get used to the collar at their own pace without forcing it.
