When you're busy with work and household chores, it can be hard to find time to play with your cats. Lately, there have been more days when I'm exhausted and can't keep up with their pleas to play, even when all I want to do is relax.

However, I can't use electric toys every day because they get bored of them. So, how can I satisfy my cats? While I was pondering this, a self-standing cat wand caught my eye.

Actually, I had previously bought a similar product on SHEIN. At that time, when my cat played with it, the base broke off after only about 5 minutes, and playtime was over.

Okay. I'll go with this method too. With renewed determination, I carefully took out the "Catch Me If You Can 2" from the drawer, attached the self-standing cat wand, turned it on, and set it spinning.

Then, there was a change in the cats' reactions. Enticed by the rustling sound of the cat wand, they came closer!

The one most interested was Leon, the brown tabby. Perhaps his hunting instincts were stimulated by the moving toy, as he wrestled to get the toy, jumping up and down! Yes! My efforts paid off!

And perhaps envious of Leon's playful demeanor, Kotaro, the striped tabby, also started showing interest in the toy. He kept peeking from behind the pet enclosure and pouncing, showing many classic cat behaviors.

However, it was frustrating that the self-standing cat wand I bought had weak suction and gradually came off when rotated, though it's understandable since it's not its original use.

While my two beloved cats were greatly excited, Jiji, the tortoiseshell cat, was going at her own pace. For some reason, Jiji seemed interested in the stick of the cat wand rather than the feathered part. She approached it, struggling to try and chew it.

Eventually, Jiji, perhaps thinking, "If I can't bite it, it's not fun," wedged herself next to the TV, her favorite summer spot, and watched her younger cat siblings excitedly play. I wonder what she was thinking as she observed from her high perch.

After playing for a while, Leon and Kotaro flopped onto the floor for a rest. Seeing this, Jiji, for some reason, went near the toy and flopped down too, as if to say, "I played hard too. Oh, I'm so tired." But she only played for about a minute.

Thus, playtime with the self-standing cat wand ended, with each cat enjoying it in their own way. Unfortunately, it wasn't a complete success, but it was still convenient that the cat wand itself moved without me having to move.
