We chose "Belgian linen" as the material for our new product because we also focused on its low environmental impact = sustainability.

The Flanders region, which spans northern France, western Belgium, and southern Netherlands, is ideal for flax cultivation due to its cool climate, and is known for producing high-quality linen.

Among European linens, "Belgian linen" has the oldest history.

For thousands of years up to the present, they have continued to adhere to traditional farming methods that use almost no fertilizers or pesticides. You can imagine how much effort goes into working with nature.

Furthermore, strong chemical treatments are not used in the process of spinning the fibers into thread and weaving the fabric. I also thought it was wonderful that they intentionally left the unevenness of the fibers untreated, making the most of the natural characteristics of the fiber.

Linen, grown by cleverly utilizing rain and sun, and carefully woven, is indeed of high quality. It is durable and long-lasting, which is also "sustainable."

The exquisite colors are carefully dyed and washed by Japanese artisans.
