For cats, an Elizabethan collar is an obstruction, something unpleasant. The plastic rubs against their face, making it hard to sleep, and they can't eat properly.

To have to endure the pain of surgery or itchy skin, and also battle the stress of an Elizabethan collar...! My heart aches thinking about how cats must feel.

It was hard, heavy, and obscured their vision. That was the problem.

Can sleep soundly and eat with it on

We believed that a soft, light, and clear Elizabethan collar would surely be fine. This led to the creation of "Poponeko's Elizabethan Collar."

The fabric part is made of 100% cotton. We carefully selected a material that has just the right amount of firmness while still being soft to the touch.

Since no metal parts are used, it weighs only 26g. Its "lightness" to the point of forgetting you're wearing it is also a key feature.

It doesn't hurt even when lying down, so they can sleep soundly with it on. Of course, eating and using the litter box are also fine.

Our model cat, Cha-chan, seemed a bit unsettled at first, but she became so relaxed during the photoshoot that she even fell asleep (laughs).

Moreover, the impact when they bump into something can be quite strong. Some cats are startled by the "thump!" sound and freeze up. Some even go wild and try to remove the Elizabethan collar.

To relieve such stress, we offer the "Clear View Type (Transparent Type)" Elizabethan collar.

Since they can see their surroundings through the transparent part, there's no need to worry about them bumping into things. Of course, there's no sound or impact when they do bump, so even active cats can feel at ease.

For cats who tend to lick their wounds more if they can see them, the "Wound-Concealing Type (Fabric Type)" is recommended.

Elizabethan collars must not be too big or too small. An ill-fitting size is also a reason why cats dislike Elizabethan collars.

We offer S, M, L, and LL sizes so that every cat can find a perfect fit.

With three-stage adjustments using hook-and-loop fasteners, you can achieve a perfect fit around your cat's neck. The ability to make fine adjustments is a key feature.
