Hello everyone! I'm CHIKAKO, the newest member of Poponeko Kobo.

I love crafting so much that I built a room dedicated to my sewing machine. I enjoy all kinds of crafts, including sewing, embroidery, sashiko, and leather crafts.

This is my first time making cat collars, and I'm discovering that there are more intricate details than I imagined. I'm enjoying the days filled with a mix of nervousness and excitement.

In my first column, I'm excited to announce the long-awaited release of our new LL size.

LL size is now available!

Until now, our collars were available in S, M, and L sizes, but we've now added an even larger "LL size."

The LL size is available for all designs of Normal Cat Collars, Ribbon Cat Collars, and Tyrol Cat Collars. Simply select "LL" on each product page and add it to your cart.

Actually, we've had many requests for a size larger than L, and I'm relieved that we can finally offer it as a standard size.

Choosing the right cat collar size is important!

When it comes to cat collars, choosing the right size is paramount. Too big is bad, and too small is also bad. It can lead to collar alopecia.

Therefore, when purchasing a cat collar, always measure your cat's "nude size."

To measure the nude size, use a measuring tape to measure the narrowest part of your cat's neck. The trick is to part their fur as much as possible when measuring.

At Poponeko, we consider the "nude size" to be the "suitable neck circumference," so the cat collar size will have a little room to spare.

For kittens or short-haired cats, nude size + 2-4cm is ideal, and for long-haired cats, nude size + 5cm. When putting it on, adjust it so that one or two fingers can comfortably fit underneath.
