How to Measure Nude Size
Nude size refers to the exact measurement of the body without any slack. When your beloved cat is calm, measure the narrowest part of their neck with a tape measure. Gently part their fur and measure snugly around the neck.

How to Choose a Cat Collar Size
Since the nude size is a snug fit, you'll need to allow for some slack when choosing a cat collar. A good guideline is to add 2-4 cm to the nude size for kittens and short-haired cats (enough for 1-2 fingers to fit underneath), and 5 cm for long-haired cats (enough for 2-3 fingers to fit underneath).
Too little slack can cause collar baldness, while too much slack can be dangerous, leading to the collar getting caught in their mouth or slipping around their shoulder. When purchasing a cat collar, always measure the nude size and choose a collar that fits your cat's neck circumference.
