How to Measure Nude Size

Nude size refers to body measurements taken snugly without any allowance. Measure your cat when it is calm and standing on all four paws. You will measure three areas: neck circumference, chest circumference, and back length.

*If your cat becomes agitated or you don't have a tape measure, you can use cotton string or non-stretch cord as a substitute, then measure the string's length with a ruler later.

How to Measure Neck Circumference

Measure the narrowest part of your cat's neck with a tape measure. This is where a collar would sit. Part the fur and measure snugly around the neck.

How to Measure Chest Circumference

Measure the widest part of your cat's torso with a tape measure. This is typically around the base of the front legs. The nude chest circumference is the most important measurement for choosing cat clothes. Measure 2-3 times to ensure accuracy.
