The New Year holidays have passed in a flash, and Poponeko's workshop has returned to its usual routine. It's reassuring to see everyone's cheerful faces.

For this new collection, I decided on a "strawberry pattern." It's so cute it's sure to make you smile. Let me introduce it to you right away.

Inspired by my hobby, patchwork

At Poponeko, simple designs like solid colors and checks are popular. I also love these designs.

But still, I find myself drawn to cute patterns.

I've been diligently making patchwork quilts at home, and I realized that unconsciously, I always choose fabrics with cute patterns.

The charm of patchwork is connecting many small pieces of fabric to create new patterns. Having cute patterns within a simple design brings a heartwarming feeling.

Excited by the adorable strawberry pattern

I wanted to create a cat collar that would make hearts flutter. With that in mind, I chose the "strawberry pattern."

Sweet, delicious-looking strawberries and tiny cherries. It reminds me of the candy wrappers I cherished as a child, and just holding it makes my heart flutter.

Of course, I also paid attention to the gentleness of the fabric. I used 100% cotton sheeting, which is especially soft and light among Poponeko's collars.

It's available in 5 colors, and you can choose between a normal type or a ribbon-attached type.

With such a cute strawberry pattern, I naturally wanted to make a bandana style as well.

Since the fabric area is larger, I chose a bigger strawberry pattern.

If you look closely, the dot sizes are different, and there are small flowers blooming too; the more you look, the cuter it gets.

The part that touches the cat's skin uses the popular MUJI Cotton Plain series.

MUJI Cotton Plain is also soft and gentle on the skin, so even cats new to wearing collars can wear it with peace of mind.

Feel an early spring

This new collection features a pop pattern, which is unusual (for Poponeko?).

Since the cold days are still ongoing, I decided to create a cat collar with a pattern that evokes the warmth of spring and makes you feel energized just by looking at it.
