The number of sunny days has been increasing lately, and I'm looking forward to having a little picnic in the shade. The sun and wind feel so nice.

For me, it's also the season when I start craving frappuccinos.

Today, I'm excited to announce the renewal of our popular MUJI Cotton Plain series.

Renewed with 5 new colors!

TheMUJI Cotton Plain is proud of its rich color variations!

This time, 5 new colors have been added: "Tsuyukusa (Dayflower Blue)," "Tamago (Egg Yolk Yellow)," "Yanagisome (Willow Dye)," "Nadeshiko (Pink)," and "Kishu-cha (Kishu Tea Brown)." The subdued colors are lovely. I personally love the names of the colors too.

Dark brown, grey, rose grey, sakura, and wakazume will be discontinued once they are sold out.

Furthermore, a highly requested ribbon-attached type is also newly available! It's surprising that a ribbon-attached cat collar for MUJI Cotton Plain didn't exist before. This significantly expands the fun of choosing a collar that suits your cat!

Soft-touch domestic sheeting fabric

The MUJI Cotton Plain uses 100% cotton domestic sheeting fabric.

Sheeting fabric is a thin, breathable fabric similar to what is used for bed sheets. Compared to overseas products, it is fluffier and feels moist to the touch.

The fabric is incredibly soft, so much so that you'll find yourself stroking it with delight. All the artisans at Poponeko highly praise this comfortable fabric. I'm imagining how lovely it would be to make a summer blouse with this fabric.

It also has just the right amount of stiffness, making it easy to sew with a machine, which is one of my favorite features (laughs).

Change collars frequently during spring and summer

To prevent collar-induced fur loss in cats, choosing the right collar material is important, but so is frequent changing.

A cat's neck is fluffy and can get stuffy easily, making it a place where dirt accumulates, so we recommend changing collars once a week.

Changing collars is easy, so it's perfectly fine to change them daily!

The MUJI Cotton Plain comes in subdued colors based on natural white, so please try a new color if you're looking for one.
