In fiscal year 2023, 6,899 cats were euthanized. We are still a long way from zero.
If you are considering welcoming a cat into your home, please keep in mind the option of adopting a "rescue cat."
Some rescue cats have had difficult experiences. Nevertheless, they will trust the warmth of your hands and become a comforting companion.
Your choice will save the future of one cat.
Measures for escapes and getting lost
A cat's collar is a vital lifeline that shows "this cat has an owner" if they escape or get lost.
However, immediately after adopting a rescue cat, expenses for medical care and daily necessities can pile up, and purchasing a collar or ID tag is often put off.
To support such foster parents, we have launched financial assistance to encourage the wearing of collars and ID tags.
Through this program, we aim to help rescue cats live safely in their new homes and to support owners in taking the first step towards "materializing" that safety.

To those who have welcomed a rescue cat into their family, we are giving away a ¥2,222 gift voucher that can be used at the Poponeko official online shop. This can be exchanged for Poponeko cat collars or ID tags.

This is a rescue cat cafe near Yokohama Station. It's a place that helps find homes for cats who came from various places.
NPO Cat Savior
We mainly operate in Tama City, focusing on the protection and rehoming of stray cats, as well as educational activities like seminars. We are a registered organization with the Ibaraki Prefectural Animal Care and Guidance Center and facilitate the rescue of young animals.

Applicants for the "Be Happy! Rescued Cat Adoption Support Program" (hereinafter referred to as "this Program") implemented by Poponeko Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") must read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Program Details
We will present a gift certificate worth 2,222 yen, usable at the Poponeko official online shop, to those who can prove that they have adopted a rescued cat during the eligible period. (The gift certificate code will be sent via email.)
2. Application Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
- Can prove that they formally adopted a rescued cat on or after October 1, 2025.
- Can submit documents proving the adoption of a rescued cat (e.g., adoption certificate, adoption agreement).
- Currently live with the relevant cat at the time of application.
- Applied via the entry form for this Program.
- Maximum of 5 cats per person (one application per cat).
- Each cat can only be applied for once.
- Reside in Japan.
3. How to Apply
Please complete the following entry form with the required information and attach your adoption certificate and cat's image to apply.
4. Benefits
- A gift certificate worth 2,222 yen usable at the Poponeko official online shop (valid for 6 months from the date of issue).
- The gift certificate code will be sent via email.
5. Important Notes
- Incomplete applications will be invalidated.
- Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or resold.
- If any false information is found in the application, the provision of benefits will be invalidated.
- Communication fees and internet connection fees related to the application will be borne by the applicant.
- This Program may be changed or terminated without prior notice.
6. Handling of Personal Information
- Personal information provided will be appropriately managed and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- It will not be used for any purpose other than the operation of this Program.
