After surgery, cats might lick their wounds, hindering recovery. However, commercially available Elizabethan collars can be unpleasant for cats and interfere with eating and sleeping. This post-surgery garment is designed specifically for cats, for those who need it.
■Excellent elasticity and stress-free design with a highly three-dimensional structure
Poponeko's post-surgery garment (romper) is exceptionally elastic. It uses high-performance fibers that stretch both vertically and horizontally, enabling a "stress-free design." It gently protects the wound by covering the lower abdomen.
Cats can defecate and urinate while wearing it. It doesn't hinder your cat's movements, allowing them to lead their normal lives, which supports a faster recovery.

■ Gentle way to put on the post-surgery garment
1. Gather the garment and put the head through
Gather the garment into a round shape like a scrunchie, and gently put the cat's head through the neck hole, embracing its face.
2. Put one front leg into each sleeve
Gently bend each front leg and put it into its respective sleeve, ensuring no undue force is applied to the joints.
3. Put the back legs into the leg openings
Pull the garment back little by little from the abdomen side, and slowly put each back leg through the leg openings.
4. Adjust any wrinkles
Gently smooth out any wrinkles around the neck, armpits, and abdomen. Finally, check if the cat is able to walk comfortably.
■How to get your cat used to wearing clothes
- If your cat is wearing clothes for the first time, don't force it; let them get used to it for short periods.
- Start with a few minutes to about 10 minutes, and if your cat strongly resists, take it off immediately.
- Take your time and let them gradually get used to it over several days to several weeks.
