Poponeko's development of "cat-friendly clothes" began with thorough research. To understand what kind of cat clothing is needed by cats and their owners, and what challenges actual users face, we conducted a survey of 1600 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes of clothes specifically for cats, not just adaptations of dog clothes. We iteratively tested hypotheses about what kind of cat clothes are needed in different situations and what they should be like, ultimately shaping the "needs spoken by experienced individuals."

To prevent the growth of germs and parasites that cause skin and coat problems and to keep the skin clean, you can wash it at home.

Please hand wash or, if using a washing machine, place it in a laundry net and use the "hand wash mode." For drying, straighten out wrinkles and hang it to dry in the shade.

■How to get your cat used to clothes

• When your cat wears clothes for the first time, don't force it; let them get used to it gradually, starting with short periods.
• Initially, aim for a few minutes to about 10 minutes, and if they strongly resist, remove the clothes immediately.
  
• Take your time and gradually accustom them over several days to weeks.
