A "cat harness" is essential to prevent your cat from escaping during disasters, vet visits, car rides, and other outings.
It's an item you'll want to have on hand. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on the results of a survey of 1,800 cat owners, using materials that are less likely to come off and are gentle on the skin and fur.

The development of Poponeko's "cat-friendly harness" began with extensive research.
To determine what kind of cat harness cat owners and their cats needed, and what problems current users faced, we conducted a survey of 1,800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a harness specifically for cats, rather than adapting a dog harness.
■ Achieves a secure, escape-resistant hold with a super three-dimensional structure
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is that they might slip off.
We developed a super three-dimensional vest type that firmly covers a cat's soft body. Vest types have a larger surface area in contact with the skin, making them less likely to slip off. The back fastens securely with a hook-and-loop fastener approximately 5cm wide. The highly cushioned lining gently and firmly holds the cat's upper body.

We also focused on "ease of putting on" for when it's actually used.
If you have to read instructions to put it on, it's not user-friendly. To thoroughly eliminate hassle for pet owners, we adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off after repeated prototyping. You can put it on quickly before your cat has a chance to dislike it, ensuring a positive experience for your feline friend.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, uses organic cotton
The concept of "cat collars that prevent hair loss" has been applied to harnesses as well.
The lining, which touches the cat's skin, uses luxuriously soft domestic organic cotton to reduce the burden on skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fastener on the back is a soft type, also used in human baby clothing, to avoid discomfort for the cat. The outer fabric is a domestic cotton-poly chambray fabric that has the necessary firmness for a secure hold, is resistant to dirt, and is thin and easy to fit to the body shape, minimizing interference with the cat's movement.

It can be washed at home to prevent the growth of germs and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems, and to keep the skin clean.
Hand wash or machine wash in a laundry net on the "hand wash cycle." To dry, smooth out wrinkles and air dry in the shade.

■ How to get your cat used to a harness
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, most cats will dislike it or become immobile.
- When your cat wears a harness for the first time, do not force it; let it get used to it gradually, starting with short periods.
- Start with a few minutes to about 10 minutes as a guide, and if your cat shows discomfort, remove it immediately.
- If it freezes and won't move or lies down even after you put it on, remove it immediately without forcing it.
- Take your time and let it get used to it over several days to several weeks.

With the exception of some products, Nekoposu delivery is available.
- Nekoposu delivery is by post-box drop-off, and the maximum liability for lost or damaged parcels is 3,000 JPY (tax included).

Customs Duties and Import Taxes (Important)
When shipping outside Japan, customs duties, import consumption taxes, customs clearance fees, etc., may be incurred depending on the regulations of the receiving country or region. Estimated Shipping Time
Orders placed by 18:00 on Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Orders placed after 18:00 on Thursday, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, will be shipped from Tuesday to Thursday of the following week.
