On a warm and pleasant weekend, I often find myself stopping my stroll when I see beautiful flowers in bloom. Feeling spring in the air always brings a delightful feeling.

Today, I'm excited to announce the release of limited-edition designs for our popular Okayama Kojima Denim series.

Poponeko's denim cat collars are made using denim fabric called "Okayama Denim," produced in the Kojima district of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.

Known as the "holy land of denim," the fabric is highly praised by denim enthusiasts worldwide for the craftsmanship involved in every step, from cotton cultivation to weaving and dyeing.

At Poponeko, we've adopted a thin denim fabric that is gentle on cats' skin.

It's authentic indigo-dyed denim, yet it has a comfortable, soft texture unique to 100% cotton.

Lively Western-style designs now available!

While basic cat collars that showcase the texture of denim are lovely, I thought it would be nice to have something a bit more special, a design that makes your heart flutter.

That's how I came up with the Western-style design!

I tried various fabric designs, agonizing over whether they were "a bit too sweet?" or "the pattern isn't coming out right..." until I settled on this one! The cute retro star pattern was the winner.

I chose fabric from the USA cotton brand "moda fabrics," which is a brand I personally love.

Available in two types: bandana and ribbon

Moda Fabrics offers many vibrant colors and designs that uplift your spirits just by looking at them. We've fashioned ribbons and bandanas to perfectly capture the charm of these fabrics.

There are three patterns combining star-patterned fabric and denim. Each can be chosen with either a ribbon or a bandana.

"White x Blue" pairs white fabric with red stars and blue denim. "Red x Navy" combines red fabric with white stars and dark denim.

And for a slightly more sophisticated look, "Grey x Black" pairs grey fabric with black denim.

All of these are limited in quantity, so we hope you'll get yours soon.
