A "cat harness" designed to prevent cats from escaping during disasters, vet visits, car rides, and other outings. We've adopted a simple design that's easy to put on and take off. Since it can be put on quickly without giving your cat time to resist, it won't leave a negative impression on your cat. The lining that touches the skin is made of organic cotton, and the outer fabric is thin and flexible to fit the body. This is a safe, domestically produced product. A matching lead is also included.

It's an item you'd want to have. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on the results of a survey of 1800 cat owners, using materials that are hard to escape from and gentle on the skin and fur.
■ Product Development "Exclusively for Cats" Based on a Survey of 1800 Cat Owners
Poponeko's "Cat-Friendly Harness" product development began with thorough research.
To determine what kind of cat harness cat owners wanted and what challenges actual users faced, we conducted a survey of 1800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a harness specifically for cats, rather than adapting a dog harness.
■ Ultra-three-dimensional structure that achieves a secure fit that is difficult to escape from
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is that they might come off.
We've created an ultra-three-dimensional vest type that securely covers your cat's soft body. The vest type has a large surface area that touches the skin, making it difficult to come off. The back can be securely fastened with a hook-and-loop fastener approximately 5cm wide. The highly cushioned lining gently and securely holds your cat's upper body.

■ Easy to put on and take off, excellent usability
We also focused on "ease of putting on" when it's time to use it.
If you have to read the instructions to put it on, it's not easy to use. To thoroughly eliminate any hassle for pet owners, we repeatedly prototyped and adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. Since it can be put on quickly without giving the cat time to resist, it won't leave a negative impression on the cat.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, uses organic cotton
We applied the concept of "cat collars that don't cause baldness" to our harnesses.
The lining that touches the cat's skin is made of luxuriously soft domestic organic cotton, reducing the burden on skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fastener on the back is a soft type, also used in human baby clothing, to ensure it doesn't cause discomfort to the cat's back. The outer fabric is a domestic cotton-poly chambray fabric that has the necessary firmness for a secure fit, is resistant to dirt, and is thin and easy to fit the body, minimizing hindrance to the cat's movement.
■ Poponeko harnesses can be washed at home
To prevent the growth of germs and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems and to keep the skin clean, you can wash it at home.
Hand wash or machine wash in a laundry net on "delicate cycle." When drying, smooth out wrinkles and hang dry in the shade.

■ How to accustom your cat to a harness
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, most cats will dislike it or become immobile.
- When putting on a cat harness for the first time, don't force it; get your cat accustomed to it for short periods.
- Start with a few minutes to about 10 minutes as a guideline, and if your cat dislikes it, take it off immediately.
- Even if you manage to put it on, if your cat freezes or lies down, take it off immediately without forcing it.
- Take your time and slowly accustom your cat over several days to several weeks.
