It's an item you'll want to have on hand. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on the results of a survey of 1,800 cat owners, using materials that are gentle on the skin and fur, and designed to prevent it from slipping off.

Poponeko's "cat-friendly harness" product development began with thorough research.
To understand what kind of cat harness cat owners wanted and what challenges actual users faced, we conducted a survey of 1,800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a cat-specific harness, rather than just adapting dog harnesses.
■ Ultra-three-dimensional structure for a secure, anti-slip fit
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is that they might slip off.
We developed an ultra-three-dimensional vest-type harness that securely covers your cat's soft body. Vest-type harnesses have a larger contact area with the skin, making them less likely to slip off. The back is securely fastened with a hook-and-loop closure approximately 5 cm wide. The highly cushioned lining gently and firmly holds your cat's upper body.

We also focused on "ease of putting on" for when you need to use it.
A harness that requires reading instructions isn't user-friendly. To completely eliminate any hassle for cat owners, we repeatedly prototyped and adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. You can quickly put it on your cat before they have a chance to resist, preventing them from developing a negative impression.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, made with organic cotton
We applied the concept of "anti-hair loss cat collars" to our harnesses as well.
The lining that touches your cat's skin is made of domestically produced organic cotton with an incredibly soft texture, reducing the burden on their skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fasteners on the back are a soft type, also used in human baby clothes, to avoid any discomfort for your cat. The outer fabric is a domestically produced cotton-poly chambray fabric that provides the necessary firmness for a secure fit, is resistant to dirt, and is thin and easy to conform to your cat's body shape, minimizing interference with their movement.
■ Poponeko harnesses are washable at home
To prevent the growth of bacteria and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems and to keep the skin clean, this product can be washed at home.
Please hand wash, or if using a washing machine, place it in a laundry net and select the "delicate cycle." When drying, smooth out wrinkles and hang it to dry in the shade.

■ How to Accustom Your Cat to a Harness
- When first wearing a cat harness, most cats will resist or become still.
- When first wearing a cat harness, don't force it; gradually accustom them to it for short periods.
- Start with a few minutes to about 10 minutes, and if they resist, take it off immediately.
- If they freeze and stop moving or lie down after you put it on, take it off immediately without forcing them.
- Take your time and slowly accustom them over several days to several weeks.

- To prevent escapes, please practice sufficiently indoors where there is no problem if it comes off, to allow your cat to get used to it.
- To prevent escapes, absolutely do not use for walks or tethering.
- The harness may slip off depending on the size and your cat's temperament. We cannot guarantee 100% that it will not slip off.
- Avoid prolonged use, as it may interfere with grooming.
- To prevent accidents such as snagging, please use it where you can keep an eye on your cat.
- As this product is handmade, there may be slight differences in fabric pattern placement and stitching finish.
- If it becomes heavily soiled or the outer fabric frays or tears, please replace it with a new one.
- The color may appear slightly different from the actual product due to your monitor settings.
