It's an item you'll want to have. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on the results of a survey of 1,800 cat owners, using materials that are resistant to slipping off and gentle on the skin and fur.

Poponeko's "Cat-Friendly Harness" product development began with thorough research.
To understand what kind of cat harness cat owners and their cats needed, and what problems current users faced, we conducted a survey of 1,800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes, creating a harness specifically for cats, not just a repurposed dog harness.
■ Super 3D Structure for Secure Hold and Anti-Escape
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is "slipping off."
We developed a super three-dimensional vest-type harness that firmly covers your cat's soft body. Vest-type harnesses have a larger surface area in contact with the skin, making them less likely to slip off. The back features a secure 5cm wide hook-and-loop fastener. The highly cushioned lining gently and firmly holds your cat's upper body.

■ Easy to put on and take off, excellent usability
We also focused on "ease of putting on" for practical use.
If you need to read an instruction manual to put it on, it's not user-friendly. To completely eliminate any hassle for cat owners, we repeatedly prototyped until we achieved a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. It can be put on quickly, without giving your cat time to fuss, ensuring they don't develop a negative association with it.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, uses organic cotton
The concept of "hair-loss resistant cat collars" was also applied to the harness.
The lining, which touches your cat's skin, is made from domestically produced organic cotton with a luxuriously soft texture, reducing the burden on their skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fastener on the back uses a soft type, also used in human baby clothes, to avoid discomfort for your cat. The outer fabric is a domestically produced cotton-poly chambray fabric, which has the necessary stiffness for a secure fit, is resistant to dirt, and is thin and easy to conform to the body shape, minimizing interference with your cat's movement.
■ Poponeko's harness can be washed at home
To prevent the growth of bacteria and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems, and to keep the skin clean, it can be washed at home.
Hand wash or, if using a washing machine, place in a laundry net and wash on a "delicate cycle." When drying, smooth out wrinkles and hang dry in the shade.

■ How to get your cat used to a harness
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, most cats will object or become immobile.
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, do not force it; gradually get your cat used to it by starting with short periods.
- Initially, aim for a few minutes to about 10 minutes, and if your cat resists, remove it immediately.
- Even if you manage to put it on, if your cat freezes and doesn't move, or lies down, don't force it; remove it immediately.
- Take your time and patiently get your cat used to it over several days to weeks.

- To prevent escape, please practice sufficiently indoors where it is safe even if the harness comes off, so your cat can get used to it.
- For escape prevention, never use for walks or tethering.
- It may come off depending on the size and your cat's personality. This product does not 100% guarantee that it will not come off.
- Avoid prolonged use, as it may interfere with grooming.
- Please use under the supervision of the owner to prevent accidents such as getting caught.
- As this is a handmade product, there may be slight differences in the pattern placement of the fabric and the finish of the seams.
- If the product becomes heavily soiled, frayed, or torn, please replace it with a new one.
- Colors may appear slightly different from the actual product depending on your monitor.

About Customs Duties and Import Taxes (Important)
When shipping outside Japan, customs duties, import consumption taxes, customs clearance fees, etc., may be incurred depending on the regulations of the receiving country or region. If these taxes or fees occur, they will all be borne by the recipient (customer). Please place your order after understanding this in advance.

International Shipping Notes

Time required for shipping
Orders received by 6:00 PM (JST) from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Orders received after 6:00 PM on Thursday, and on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays, will be shipped the following Tuesday to Thursday.
Shipping may vary depending on product stock and credit card approval status. Additional processing time may also be required after weekends or holidays.
