A "cat harness" is designed to prevent your cat from escaping during emergencies, vet visits, or car rides.
It's an item you'd want to have. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on a survey of 1800 cat owners, using materials that are escape-resistant and gentle on the skin and fur.
■Product Development "Exclusively for Cats" Based on a Survey of 1800 Cat Owners
To determine what kind of cat harness is desired by cats and their owners, and what challenges actual users face, we conducted a survey of 1800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a harness specifically for cats, rather than adapting a dog harness.
■Achieves an Ultra-Three-Dimensional Structure with a Secure, Escape-Resistant Fit
We developed an ultra-three-dimensional vest type that firmly covers your cat's soft body. Vest-type harnesses have a large surface area in contact with the skin, making them less likely to come off. The back can be securely fastened with a hook-and-loop fastener approximately 5cm wide. The highly cushioned lining gently and securely holds your cat's upper body.

■Excellent Ease of Use: Easy to Put On, Easy to Take Off
We also focused on "ease of putting on" when it's time to use it.
If it requires reading instructions to put on, it's not practical. To completely eliminate owner frustration, we iterated prototypes and adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. You can quickly put it on without giving your cat time to object, so it doesn't leave a negative impression on them.
■Gentle on Skin and Fur, Made with Organic Cotton
The concept of "hair loss resistant cat collars" was applied to the harness as well.
The lining, which touches the cat's skin, is made of domestically produced organic cotton with an irresistibly soft feel, reducing the burden on the skin and fur. The "hook-and-loop fastener" on the back uses a soft type, also used in human baby clothing, to avoid discomfort for the cat. The outer fabric is a domestically produced cotton-poly denim that provides the necessary stiffness for a secure fit, is resistant to dirt, thin, and easily conforms to the body shape, minimizing interference with the cat's movement.
■Poponeko's Harnesses are Washable at Home
To prevent the growth of germs and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems, and to keep the skin clean, it can be washed at home.
Hand wash or, if using a washing machine, place it in a laundry net and use the "hand wash mode." For drying, straighten out wrinkles and hang it to dry in the shade.

■How to Acclimate Your Cat to a Harness
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, most cats will object or stop moving.
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, do not force it and gradually acclimate your cat starting with short periods.
- Start with a few minutes to about 10 minutes, and if your cat objects, remove it immediately.
- Even if you can put it on, if your cat freezes and stops moving or lies down, remove it immediately without forcing it.
- Acclimate your cat slowly and patiently over several days to several weeks.

- Avoid prolonged use, as it may interfere with grooming.
- To prevent accidents such as getting caught, please use this product while under the supervision of the owner.
- As this is a handmade product, there may be slight differences in the pattern placement of the fabric and the finish of the seams.
- If the product becomes severely soiled, frayed, or torn, please replace it with a new one.

About Customs Duties and Import Taxes (Important)
When shipping outside Japan, customs duties, import consumption taxes, customs clearance fees, etc., may be incurred depending on the regulations of the receiving country or region. International Shipping Notes

Time required for shipping
Orders received by 6:00 PM (JST) from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Orders received after 6:00 PM on Thursday, and on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays, will be shipped the following Tuesday to Thursday.
Shipping may vary depending on product stock and credit card approval status. Additional processing time may also be required after weekends or holidays.
