It's an item you'll definitely want to have. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on a survey of 1,800 cat owners, designed to be escape-resistant and made with materials gentle on the skin and fur.

Poponeko's development of the "cat-friendly harness" began with extensive research.
To understand what kind of cat harness is desired by cats and their owners, and what challenges actual users face, we conducted a survey targeting 1,800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a cat-specific harness, rather than simply adapting dog harnesses.
■ Super three-dimensional structure for a secure, escape-resistant fit
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is that they might come off.
We've created a highly three-dimensional vest-type harness that securely covers your cat's flexible body. Vest-type harnesses have a larger surface area in contact with the skin, making them less likely to slip off. The back is securely fastened with a hook-and-loop closure approximately 5cm wide. The highly cushioned lining gently and securely holds your cat's upper body.

■ Exceptionally easy to use: simple to put on and take off
We also focused on "ease of putting on" for when it's actually used.
It's not user-friendly if you have to read instructions every time. To eliminate any inconvenience for owners, we repeatedly prototyped until we adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. You can quickly dress your cat before they have a chance to get annoyed, ensuring they don't develop a negative impression.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, made with organic cotton
We applied the concept of "anti-hair loss cat collars" to our harnesses as well.
The lining that touches your cat's skin is made from soft, domestically produced organic cotton, reducing stress on their skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fasteners on the back are a soft type, also used in human baby clothing, to prevent discomfort for your cat. The outer fabric is a domestically produced cotton-poly denim that provides the necessary stiffness for a secure hold, is resistant to dirt, and is thin and flexible to minimize interference with your cat's movement.
■ Poponeko harnesses are washable at home
To prevent the growth of germs and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems and to keep their skin clean, you can wash this product at home.
Wash by hand or, if using a washing machine, place in a laundry net and use the "delicate cycle." When drying, smooth out wrinkles and hang dry in the shade.

■ How to accustom your cat to a harness
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, most cats will dislike it or stop moving.
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, do not force it; accustom your cat to it for short periods.
- Start with a few minutes to about 10 minutes, and if your cat dislikes it, remove it immediately.
- Even if you manage to put it on, if your cat freezes or lies down, remove it immediately without forcing them.
- Accustom them slowly and patiently over several days to several weeks.

Usage Notes
- Do not use for purposes other than a cat harness.
- To prevent escapes, please practice sufficiently indoors where slipping out is not an issue, allowing your cat to get used to it.
- To prevent escapes, never use for walks or tethering.
- There is a possibility of the harness coming off depending on the fit and the cat's temperament. We do not guarantee 100% escape prevention.
- Avoid prolonged use, as it may interfere with grooming.
- To prevent accidents such as getting caught, please use under the owner's supervision.
- As this is a handmade item, there may be slight differences in fabric pattern placement and stitching finish.
- If it becomes heavily soiled, or if the outer fabric frays or tears, please replace it with a new one.

About Customs Duties and Import Taxes (Important)
When shipping outside Japan, customs duties, import consumption taxes, customs clearance fees, etc., may be incurred depending on the regulations of the receiving country or region. If these taxes or fees occur, they will all be borne by the recipient (customer). Please place your order after understanding this in advance.

International Shipping Notes

Time required for shipping
Orders received by 6:00 PM (JST) from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Orders received after 6:00 PM on Thursday, and on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays, will be shipped the following Tuesday to Thursday.
Shipping may vary depending on product stock and credit card approval status. Additional processing time may also be required after weekends or holidays.
