It's an item every cat owner should have. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on a survey of 1,800 cat owners, using materials that are escape-resistant and gentle on the skin and fur.

The development of Poponeko's "cat-friendly harness" began with thorough research.
To understand what cat harnesses cat owners need and what challenges actual users face, we conducted a survey of 1,800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered from their responses, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a harness specifically designed for cats, rather than merely adapting a dog harness.
■ Ultra-three-dimensional structure achieving secure, escape-resistant hold
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is that they might come off.
We've created an ultra-three-dimensional vest-style harness that securely covers your cat's soft body. The vest type has a large contact area with the skin, making it escape-resistant. The back fastens securely with a hook-and-loop fastener approximately 5 cm wide. The cushioned lining gently and securely holds your cat's upper body.

We also focused on "ease of use" for when you need it.
If you have to read instructions to put it on, it's not user-friendly. To completely eliminate any hassle for pet owners, we went through repeated prototyping and adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. You can quickly put it on your cat before they even have a chance to get upset, ensuring they don't develop a negative association with it.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, made with organic cotton
We've applied the concept of "anti-hair loss cat collars" to our harnesses.
The lining that touches your cat's skin is made from soft, domestically produced organic cotton to reduce the burden on their skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fastener on the back is a soft type, also used in human baby clothes, to prevent discomfort for your cat. The outer fabric is a domestically produced cotton-poly chambray, chosen for its firmness necessary for holding, resistance to dirt, thinness, and ability to fit the body shape, minimizing interference with your cat's movement.
■ Poponeko's harness is washable at home
To prevent the growth of bacteria and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems, and to keep your cat's skin clean, the harness can be washed at home.
Hand wash or, if using a washing machine, place it in a laundry net and use the "hand wash" cycle. For drying, smooth out wrinkles and air dry in the shade.

■ How to get your cat used to a harness
- When first wearing a cat harness, most cats will dislike it or become immobile.
- When first wearing a cat harness, do not force it, and gradually get them used to it for short periods.
- Start with about a few minutes to 10 minutes as a guideline, and if they dislike it, remove it immediately.
- Even if you can put it on, if they freeze or lie down, do not force it and remove it immediately.
- Take your time and gradually get them used to it over several days to several weeks.

- To prevent escapes, never use for walks or tethering.
- Depending on the size fit and your cat's personality, it may still come off. We cannot guarantee 100% that it will not come off.
- Avoid prolonged use, as it may interfere with grooming.
- To prevent accidents such as getting caught, please use it while under the supervision of the owner.
- As this is a handmade product, there may be slight differences in fabric pattern placement and stitching finish.
- If it becomes heavily soiled, or if the outer fabric frays or tears, please replace it with a new one.

About Customs Duties and Import Taxes (Important)
When shipping outside Japan, customs duties, import consumption taxes, customs clearance fees, etc., may be incurred depending on the regulations of the receiving country or region. Time required for shipping
Orders received by 6:00 PM (JST) from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Orders received after 6:00 PM on Thursday, and on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays, will be shipped the following Tuesday to Thursday.
