It's an item you'd want to have. Poponeko's cat harness was developed based on the results of a survey of 1,800 cat owners, using materials that are less likely to come off and are gentle on the skin and fur.

Poponeko's "cat-friendly harness" product development began with thorough research.
To determine what kind of cat harness cat owners wanted and what problems actual users faced, we conducted a survey of 1,800 cat owners. Based on the information gathered, we repeatedly developed prototypes for a harness specifically for cats, rather than just adapting dog harnesses.
■ Super three-dimensional structure for a secure, non-slip fit
The biggest concern with cat harnesses is "slipping off."
We've created a super three-dimensional vest-type design that securely covers your cat's soft body. Vest-type harnesses have a larger surface area in contact with the skin, making them less likely to slip off. The back is securely fastened with a hook-and-loop closure approximately 5cm wide. The highly cushioned lining gently and securely holds your cat's upper body.

■ Easy to put on and take off, outstanding usability
We also focused on "ease of use" for when you need it.
It's not user-friendly if you have to read instructions to put it on. To thoroughly eliminate any hassle for cat owners, we repeatedly prototyped and adopted a simple design that is easy to put on and take off. You can quickly put it on before your cat has a chance to object, ensuring a positive experience for your cat.
■ Gentle on skin and fur, uses organic cotton
We applied the concept of "anti-shedding cat collars" to harnesses.
The lining that touches your cat's skin is made of luxuriously soft domestic organic cotton, reducing the burden on skin and fur. The hook-and-loop fastener on the back uses a soft type, also used in human baby clothes, to prevent discomfort for your cat. The outer fabric is a domestic cotton-poly dungaree that provides the necessary stiffness for a secure fit, is resistant to dirt, and is thin and body-hugging, minimizing interference with your cat's movement.
■ Poponeko harnesses can be washed at home
It can be washed at home to prevent the growth of germs and parasites that can cause skin and fur problems, and to keep the skin clean.
Hand wash or, if using a washing machine, place it in a laundry net and wash on the "hand wash cycle." To dry, smooth out wrinkles and hang dry in the shade.

■ How to acclimate your cat to a harness
- When a cat wears a harness for the first time, most cats will dislike it or become still.
- When wearing a cat harness for the first time, do not force it, and let your cat get used to it for short periods.
- Start with a few minutes, up to about 10 minutes, and if your cat dislikes it, take it off immediately.
- If your cat freezes or lies down even after you put it on, do not force it and take it off immediately.
- Take your time and gradually accustom your cat over several days to several weeks.

- Avoid prolonged use, as it may interfere with grooming.
- Please use it under the owner's supervision to prevent snagging accidents.
- As this is a handmade item, there may be slight differences in fabric pattern placement and stitching finish.
- If it becomes heavily soiled, frayed, or torn, replace it with a new one.
